Our 400hrs includes:

200hr Embodied Breathwork Practitioner Training

Embodied Breathwork is a conscious, connected breathing practice through the nose that supports nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and embodied self-awareness.

Rooted in the lineage of Rebirthing Breathwork and expanded through a trauma-informed, somatic lens, this method works with the whole human system. Breath is the entry point, but it is not the only tool. As part of the Embodied Breathwork method, we also work with belief systems, parts work, somatic awareness, and a Somatic Experiencing–informed approach to support deep, sustainable change.

The breath invites access to the subconscious in a way that is regulated and embodied, allowing stored tension, stress, and emotional charge to surface and integrate safely. Alongside the breath, we support clients to recognise patterns, meet protective parts with compassion, and rewire self-relationship through neurological reprogramming and lived experiences of self-love.

This style of breathing is already familiar to the body. It mirrors natural breathing patterns experienced during REM sleep and early infancy, allowing the nervous system to soften and build trust in the process. Because the breath is nasal and regulated, it supports the body’s innate capacity to restore balance rather than pushing it into overwhelm.

Over time, Embodied Breathwork becomes a skill you carry with you for life. A way to regulate your nervous system, understand your inner world, soften old belief structures, and respond to life with more choice, presence, and self-trust.

Physiologically, Embodied Breathwork supports the parasympathetic nervous system, guiding the body into states of rest, repair, and integration. When the body feels safe, the mind can settle and healing can occur across physical, emotional, and energetic layers.

150hr Wild Love Breathwork & Leadership Training (Women Only/Men Only)

Wild Love Breathwork is a deeply embodied methodology of self-actualisation and FEM-bodied leadership that expands self-awareness, emotional capacity, and intimacy with life itself.

This practice weaves conscious breathing with parts work, belief system exploration, somatic awareness, and neurological reprogramming to support a lived experience of self-love and personal authority. Breath is the gateway, but the work extends far beyond the breath, inviting you into a direct, honest relationship with your energy, emotions, and inner world. From this place, leadership emerges naturally, not as something you perform, but as something you embody.

Wild Love is a unique and deeply embodied style of breathwork that guides participants into felt states of Divine Love and life-force energy, including orgasmic energy, experienced internally as vitality, creativity, and presence. You learn how to sense, harness, and circulate this energy with awareness and choice, developing the capacity to stay open, grounded, and self-led in intensity.

With an emphasis on softness, attunement, and self-responsibility, the practice invites you into the feeling state. You learn to listen closely to the subtleties of your body, move energy consciously, and alchemise what has been held or suppressed into flow, sensation, and embodied confidence. This builds the nervous system capacity required for clear decision-making, authentic expression, and relational leadership.

Through breath, movement, and sound, you come into direct contact with the embodied experience of love within yourself. This creates the conditions to meet shadow aspects with compassion, take responsibility for your inner landscape, and lead from wholeness rather than fragmentation or self-abandonment.

Working with Karina or a qualified Wild Love practitioner supports the integration of this work into everyday life and leadership. The methodology assists in transmuting shame, guilt, anger, and fear into presence, self-trust, and grounded authority. Over time, Wild Love increases nervous system resilience, emotional literacy, and the ability to stay connected to yourself while holding others, whether in personal relationships, professional roles, or facilitation.

Wild Love is about becoming self-led, embodied, and alive, and allowing that leadership to ripple naturally into the world.

100hr Assistants Training (must have completed one or both of the above)

Join the trainings as an assistant, where you see the training through the lens of both facilitator and student. This role will allow you to hone your skills as a practitioner, improving your capacity to be going through your own process and holding space at the same time, all while bringing more presence to your practice as a practitioner.

The EBA Also offers ongoing support and ongoing learning opportunities as you grow and evolve as a breathwork practitioner.

At the EBA, we believe in embodying the work that we so passionately offer to the world. In this rise of breathwork it is of the utmost importance that practitioners out there are well trained, trauma informed & work to create safe spaces for you to grow and evolve.

A person can only go as deep with another as they’ve gone within themselves. It is for this reason we believe that part of the role of being a breathwork practitioner is an evolutionary process, and the more willing a practitioner can allow themselves to unravel into relaxation & work with their own personal trauma, the more profound their work with others can be.

Please note that while we value well trained practitioners, you don’t have to commit to 400hrs to begin working with people. We encourage you to begin 1-1 facilitation throughout each training. Each training is a stand alone training and will empower you to become your best self and support you in having the courage to practise breathwork as a career.

• Have personally moved through meaningful aspects of your own healing and continue to do so.
• Have received at least 20 hours of private and group breathwork as a participant.
• Maintain an ongoing personal practice of breathwork and embodiment.

Capacity to Hold Space

• Feel confident guiding clients toward their own inner knowing, heart connection, and truth without imposing your beliefs or interpretations.

• Create a container of safety, clarity, and presence in both in-person and online spaces.
• Work within your energetic, emotional, and nervous system capacity and know your limits.
• Manage your schedule in a way that allows sessions to feel unrushed, grounded, and complete.

Ethics, Responsibility & Boundaries

• Maintain clear professional boundaries with all clients at all times.
• Never exploit the power imbalance inherent in facilitator-client relationships.
• Keep accurate client records and session notes for reference and continuity of care.
• Keep a personal written reflection on the first three clients you guide through ten sessions, for self-awareness and professional development.
• Refer clients on or seek supervision when a client presents with challenges beyond your scope of practice.
• Understand when breathwork is not appropriate and honour contraindications without exception.

Ongoing Support & Supervision

• Receive breathwork sessions yourself a minimum of four times per year.
• Commit to continued personal evolution through breath, embodiment practices, education, and reflective self-inquiry.

Consent & Transparency

• Obtain clear, informed consent before every session, including discussion of breathwork style, potential experiences, and aftercare.
• Respect a client’s right to pause, stop, or modify a session at any time.

Trauma-Informed Practice

• Never force emotional catharsis, memory retrieval, or expression.
• Prioritise nervous system regulation over intensity or outcome.
• Honour dissociation as an intelligent survival response, not something to be “pushed through.”

Power, Projection & Integrity

• Take responsibility for projections, transference, and countertransference that may arise.
• Avoid positioning yourself as the authority on a client’s truth, healing, or spiritual experience.
• Never suggest that a client needs more sessions, training, or work to be “whole” or “worthy.”

Non-Negotiable Ethical Boundaries

As an Embodied Breath Academy practitioner, the following boundaries are non-negotiable. These exist to protect clients, uphold the integrity of the work, and ensure breathwork is facilitated safely and responsibly.

• Practitioners do not facilitate breathwork without a minimum of 200 hours of certified training and having personally received at least 10 high-quality 1-1 breathwork sessions themselves to hold space for groups.

• Practitioners do not guide with an agenda, desired outcome, or expectation of catharsis. Each session is client-led and body-led.

• Practitioners do not facilitate without establishing a clear container of safety, consent, and nervous system awareness.

• Practitioners do not assume that something dramatic, emotional, or explosive needs to happen for a session to be “successful.”

• Practitioners do not view clients as broken, deficient, or in need of fixing.

• Practitioners do not give advice unless it is explicitly requested, or clear permission has been given by the client.

• Practitioners do not judge, shame, or criticise clients in any form.

• Practitioners do not encourage emotional dependency or blurred relational boundaries with clients.

• Practitioners do not facilitate groups beyond their capacity. When facilitating alone, groups are limited to a maximum of 8 participants per facilitator to maintain safety and presence.
